Yiruma is the stage name of Lee Ru-ma. He was born and raised in South Korea. He began to start learning piano at the age of five. He has released a string of successful albums in the 2000s. Yiruma's most popular album is First Love. Some of his most popular pieces "River Flows in You" , "Maybe" and "Kiss the Rain". His albums can be categorized somewhere in between the "contemporary classical" and "new age" genres.
